Gig worker questions, answered
Is it free to register as a gig worker with TopHawks?
Yes. Registration is free and TopHawks never charges a fee at any stage. If anyone asks you for money in our name, do not pay and report it to enterprise@tophawks.com.
Who can register?
Anyone aged 18 or older can register: students, homemakers, freshers, working professionals and retired people. Many assignments need only a 10th or 12th pass and no experience.
What kind of work will I get?
Work includes retail promotion, field sales, merchandising, surveys, mystery shopping, merchant onboarding, events and delivery. What you are offered depends on your city, skills and availability.
How much can I earn and when will I be paid?
Earnings depend on the role, city and hours you work. The rate and payment date are confirmed before you start, and payment is made by bank transfer to your own account.
Can I work part-time, on weekends or from home?
Yes. You tell us your available days and hours in the form. Most assignments are field work near you, and a smaller number of tasks can be done from home.
Do I need a bike, a smartphone or any documents?
A smartphone with internet is needed for most assignments, and a two-wheeler helps for delivery and field sales. You do not upload any documents now. Your ID and bank details are checked only when you are selected for an assignment.
Is this the same as e-Shram or government gig worker registration?
No. This form registers you with TopHawks, a private company, to receive paid assignments. e-Shram is the Government of India's database of unorganised workers, and you register for it separately on eshram.gov.in.
How soon will I get work after registering?
It depends on the projects running in your city. Our team contacts you when a matching assignment is available. Registering does not guarantee work.
